Applicant: A potential buyer or tenant. Completion date: Date on which all transaction concerning the let is finally concluded. Contract: Legal and binding agreement committing both tenant and landlord to the transaction. Conversion: A house that has been converted into flats. Deposit: A bond paid for by the tenant and held by the landlord in case of damage or missing items. D/g: Double-glazing. Econ 7: Economy 7 heating Excl: Excluding (bills) Fit/kit: A fitted kitchen. Fr/Fr: Fridge freezer GCH: Gas central heating Incl: Inclusive/including (bills) Inventory: A list of all the items that are in a property Mins: Minutes (estimated) to the tube etc. M/W: A microwave Negotiator: The Estate Agent who looks after you. OSP: Off Street Parking P built: Purpose built flat, i.e. a block as opposed to a conversion. Viewing: When an applicant is showed around a property. W/M: Washing machine W/D: Washer Dryer |
